About Us
Vermont Healers is a statewide network of natural health resources,
farms, retailers, healers and eateries.
This website serves to raise awareness about the value of connecting
health care service providers with plants and nature.
We believe health care is a basic human right. We acknowledge there are many approaches and methods for healing. We see a need for cultivating good relationships with our neighbors, health care practitioners, local services, ecological cycles, our own bodies and healing processes.
We are a group of Vermont healers dedicated to unifying and strengthening
the grassroots healthcare system. Our intention is to support the
health and integrity of Vermont's residents, economy and ecology.

About our founding sponsors:
Food co-ops and natural health food stores are, in some cases, the
only place where community members can purchase the items suggested
by their natural health practitioner. These stores are also key
sources of educational opportunities open to the public. We are
grateful to the commitment of our founding sponsors in helping us
launch this site. Our collaborative partnership calls upon a bioregional
web of hubs ”to positively impact community food, ecological
and personal health security.
Who is a Vermont Healer?
A Vermont Healer is an individual or group that conducts work which
serves to improve the health and well being of our local community
and eco-system. The service of a Vermont Healer is not restricted
to any modality and is part of a diverse group of healing systems.
The service of a Vermont Healer is centered in the context of nature's
intelligence and wisdom. Whether a health professional, farmer,
retailer, educator or cook, a Vermont Healer uses ecologically minded
practices that directly partner with nature in some or all aspects.
